Lev's Recommended Recordings for Spring Term 2024

For the Rachmaninov, I look no further than André Previn’s legendary 1973 recording with the LSO available here.

There’s a rich and energetic version of the Khachaturian by the Armenian Philharmonic Orchestra available here.

And while it might be tempting to go with the Brahms as conducted by Bradley Cooper, my personal preference is for Blomstedt’s version which you can watch here. He also recorded it in the studio, and that recording is available here.
